Dr. Lilley Gharavi was born and raised in Southern California, where her passion for dentistry began at the age of 12. With over 12 years of clinical experience, she has devoted her career to providing patients with compassionate, evidence-based, and comfortable care in the field of endodontics.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, graduating with multiple academic and leadership honors. During this time, she had the unique opportunity to join the United States Navy Ship Mercy Humanitarian Mission, where she helped deliver dental outreach in Southeast Asia—a formative experience that deepened her commitment to service and patient care.

Dr. Gharavi went on to earn both a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University in Arizona. It was during her second year of dental school that her passion for endodontics truly took shape. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, where she was honored to provide hospital-based dentistry to veterans. She then pursued advanced specialty training in endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, one of the most prestigious programs in the country. During her residency, Dr. Gharavi presented her research on a national stage and was awarded second place—a recognition of her clinical curiosity and commitment to advancing her specialty.

In 2017, Dr. Gharavi achieved board certification in endodontics, becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. This distinction is held by only 15–20% of endodontists nationwide and reflects the highest level of clinical excellence, professional achievement, and dedication to the specialty.

Today, Dr. Gharavi limits her practice exclusively to endodontics. Patients consistently value her gentle demeanor, clear communication, and dedication to creating a calming, respectful environment—especially for those in pain or facing anxiety about treatment. Her goal is always to ensure patients leave feeling confident, informed, and cared for.

She remains active in organized dentistry and professional advancement as a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), California State Association of Endodontists (CSAE), American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Orange County Dental Society (OCDS), and the College of Diplomates. She previously served on the Regenerative Endodontics Committee for the AAE, contributing to advancements that are shaping the future of her specialty.

Outside the office, Dr. Gharavi enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Her hobbies include traveling, running, Bikram yoga, basketball, hiking, cooking, and community service.

With a deep passion for helping others and a dedication to excellence in her craft, Dr. Gharavi is committed to making every patient’s root canal therapy not only effective—but also a comfortable, reassuring experience.
